Singing Praises

  • "Judith Lander is, without doubt, the finest voice teacher and coach that I have ever collaborated with. Her solid mastery of technique, her unerring explication of the true meaning of the text, and her great care and concern for all her students is beyond praiseworthy. I encourage singers young and old, newcomers and seasoned professionals, to join Ms. Lander's studio."

Robert Missen, The Bobolink Agency, Toronto-based, representing classical, jazz and world musicians

  • "Judith Lander is a consummate teacher who coached my son, Shaun, when he was preparing to do Frankie in the 'Jersey Boys" North American tour. Her artistry is legendary whether she was singing Brel and Weil on Broadway, or on tour as the composer-performer of my ballets, 'Diary' or 'Spy' (based on Anais Nin's 'Spy in the House of Love.') Judith imparts confidence and a grasp of many styles as she teaches her craft. She meets the student where they're at and invests everything she has with a full heart."

Lynne Taylor-Corbett, Choreographer: The Lion King (stage), Footloose, Titanic (stage), Swing!

  • "Your voice is so rich, evocative, and heart-breaking, and your profound way with a lyric has only gotten stronger over time. And of course, thank you for the magnificent performance of 'Chanson'—I am so proud to have a song included on this wonderful collection. I am loving listening to it!"

Stephen Schwartz, Composer & Lyricist: Wicked, Prince of Egypt, Pocahontas, Godspell, Pippin

  • "You can hardly imagine the joy you have ushered into my life with your kind heart and inspired teaching. What a gift! I doubt anyone else on Planet Earth could have coaxed music out of me!"

    Michele Landsberg, Journalist

  • "I am currently 29 years old and have been a student of Judith's since I was 11. Whether it's been to improve my breathing, singing, vocal range, or to help recovering from laryngitis or a vocal injury, Judith is the one I can turn to. She's not only incredibly wise and talented, but so warm and comforting too. I can honestly say I don't know what I'd do without her."

Molly Burke, Social Media Influencer, Commercial Model & Speaker

  • "If it weren't for Judith's support and belief in me, I never would have been on stage starring as the MC in Cabaret... we've nailed it!"
